Lowering
The sport springs are not very low. I've had my coupe up and down from 1 inch to nearly 3.5 inches driving all over virginia with few problems. I'd go with a decent drop like race springs(2.5f 2.25r) or look into sleeve coilovers like Ground controls $290 or skunk2 $255 that you can adjust the height with. Also, Terry is selling most all omni suspension components. He can get you omni sleeve and full coilovers for great prices. $650 for full and $190 for sleeves. Boostfed is his UN. https://www.vadriven.com/forums/sponsor-marketplace-42/omnipower-usa-suspension-specials-130070/

I dont recommend anything that ^^^^^^ he said. Coil Sleeves are complete trash (IMO). They are a cheap cop out and the Ground Controls I rode with bounce like crazy. The spring rate is not meant for the drop people use.
On top of that, if you plan to actually try and drive the car on twisties it feels like shit.
I suggest regular springs. Then when you have the money replace your shocks. Teins with some Konis should not run you that much. Maybe wait an extra 2 weeks for the next paycheck. Put the springs and shocks in at the same time.

^^^wha the said....Koni yellows and some tein springs and your set. Wont cost much, and if you dont have the money...save. Its the cheapest way to go without sacrificing to much comfort. plus youll handle a-hell-of-a-lot better
Thanks for all the help guys. So I'm looking into these Tein springs:

Why is there such a difference in drop between the front and the rear? And how much do you think a shop would charge to install them?

to S-techs...but id be carefull about buying them off e-bay tho.
Yeah man, a pic would be awesome. How do you like the ride quality?
The front drops lower for aero and I guess some looks as well. Most cars have equal gapping front and rear OR the front sits higher than the rear. To compensate that Tein has the front drop another .5 inches or so. This will either level the car or it will drop the front a bit more.
As far as installation goes. Not alot of mechanical requirements to it. I changed my suspension out in front of my townhouse in less than 2 hours. So for someone who hasnt done alot of car work before. Just expect to use up an afternoon to get it all done. Since you are at ODU, I am sure someone would be willing to swing by and "help" you do it. I say help as you cant learn if they do it for you. Once you get 1 done the rest are simple.
