Car runs amazing, happened to be leaving somewhere and felt the car bogging down so i tried to give it a little gas, and it didn't feel like it did anything, and the car just putted out. It then wouldn't even start and just sounded weird trying to turn over. Finally sprayed starter fluid on the plugs and through the intake and got it going, and let it warm up for a few. Ran fine, and then when i went to leave, did the same exact thing. Some are telling me its the fuel filter or pump. Now the battery is mostly dead and have no clue why me just trying to start it killed it?

HELP ME!!!

 

CHECK THE MAIN RELAY. THEN MAKE SHURE UR FUEL PUMP IS WORKING. U CAN TELL WHEN U TURN THE KEY TO THE ACC POSITION U SHOULD HERE A LIL HUHMING NOISE FOR ABOUT 2-3 SECOND'S

 

Alternator?

 

bad muffler bearings maybe...... just kidding check ur grounds

 

could be fuel filter or pump. the battery may be dead cause it wasn't able to be recharged by the altenator for logn enough. just a hunch.

check your dizzy could also be the ignition coil crapping out if your getting fuel...

 

car is already fixed. it ripped about 10-15 teeth off the timing belt. luckily he didn't bend any valves.

 

what this guy said...id say ignition prob if you pump is working properly
