just noticed this thread...anyways alot of nsx owners buy their nsx's with straight cash or heloc (home equity line of credit/loan) thats what i did...which isnt a bad a idea if u own a home cuz you will get low interest rates and payments based on a 10year period...of course you want to pay if off before 10 years only bad thing about using heloc is that if u miss your payments you put your home on the line!!

as far as what car you want...i owned a fd for a little while and really liked driving it, actually im looking to buy another fd for a daily. i just got my nsx...but so far this is the baddest car ive owned!

i have nnecu, which is similar to nfcu and they wont give u a car loan for a early model NSX/FD/Supra...unless you get a personal loan, and i know many banks that wont lend out $30-40K personal loan unless you make real good money and have bangin credit. believe me, i know of plenty people that have tried lol. there are companys/lenders that will give you a loan for any car you want...but your credit and income needs to be on point.

I couldn't get rid of the teg in time to get yours. Id love to have one but I couldn't drive it as much as I drive my car now. It would die in like a month. I do a lot of driving.

You might want to consider the NSX for a couple of reasons. First of all the NSX motor is supposed to actually run better after 50k miles, at least according to all the BEST MOTORING videos I've seen..which means you could pay less money for a clean older model and also maybe save more on insurance.. Another reason is the NSX's body is all-aluminum which means no worries about rust.. The last reason is that since the NSX is such an expensive car new (70-80grand) that the odds are that the car has been most likely babied(garage kept, not a daily driver and so forth) but those obviously depend on the particular car in question...Id say go NSX or maybe a clean r32 IMO
