You say you dont race magazines but everyone in this thread is racing magazines or what other people did in the quarter LOL. Muscle Mustangs Fast Fords ran a 12.4 completely STOCK. Straight from Frost in a PM i got from him: "My car weighed 3665 with 1/4 tank of fuel on DOT scales just after I got it." (Really cool guy). Hyperbole are statements that are exaggerated or extravagant, my statement wasnt either of those.

If I were you at this point I would not care either since you are wrong. At least my statment is based on fact not someone elses experience told through a 1000 different people. So now I see you cling to a driver issue, well either way I never got beat by an 03Cobra at the track..... never... why because they were slow............. The closest one was within 2 tenths of my time... wow not a 13 second ride............ oh noeeesssss you have no actual experience in what you are talking about and have to resort to publications and internet rumors.
I posted my experience throughout this entire thread, no magazines or publications. Frost drives a car with more options and weight than my SS. I have a hardtop, cloth interior, lighter 17in wheels from the factory, and of course the lighter hood. Your statement was a direct copy from a magazine, magazines tend to exaggerate therefore you qouted hyperbole.

Ported blower with 2.75 upper only. suspension , full weight, Port with 2.75 and 2# lower, with slicks and skinnies, 10.90 @ 128.38 on a 1.69 60' (badly slipping clutch). the car usually cuts mid 1.5's , which would have been a 10.70 pass. still stock suspension , full weight besides prostars. roughly 3750#s.
Dude, I would be embarassed to post that time for a power adder car with bolt ons...... Really! What is even more comical is that 60ft on slicks..... Bahha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...............................I pulled that on a set of 17in drag radials.................That is some sorry ass shit there on slicks.

think the point of the "slipping clutch" has anything to do with that?

ok, carry on.

look "big bake" (that like code for "i like cookies"?) : im not tryin to start shit.... well atleast not meaningful shit atleast. i'm looking at a timeslip (IN MY HAND) of a 9s pass with a 1.49 60' - which was performed via footbrake/slipping posi unit/and broken transmission..... so i don't quite see where the 1.5 whatever by the irs is too bad, THUS, my question on the status of the clutch.

now, when you get down from your highstool enough to slow the fuck down and read and COMPREHEND THE QUESTION before immediately trying to be the bigger smartass (i currently hold the title), you may be able to understand it.

k thanks.

i've seen stock internal LS1's run high 10's without blowers. a friend of mine has run 11.4's NA. the motor has never been broken into.

Buddy you ain't got shit on me, really stand by until I direct you otherwise. You got caught in a moment of dumbassness, learn from it and move on, you will eventually be a better person for it.
