I'll vouch for the clutchmaster stage one. I have one in my old car. My buddy also had a CM stage 3 full face in his 330whp Si for 3 years before it took a dump on him, lots of track abuse and 40,000 miles will do that.

Good to hear. I bought a Competition Clutch for my Honda. 6-Puck sprung

overkill on a clutch isn't going to hurt anything. Its when you don't have a strong enough clutch that shit decides to blow up. if he wants to get a 6 puck, and a serious leg work out, so be it.

I'm with everybody else (since I had one) -CM stage 1 ftw.

Actually I have heard otherwise,

Most people with clutch master have had problems. I had one in a 198 hp n/a motor (stage 2) and I went through 3 in 5 months. I know how to drive and I broke them in so I know it wasn't me.

I finally put a act clutch in there and didn't even brake it in and never had a problem, and it was only a stage 1,

ACt FTW

Not true, overkill will kill the tranny and much more, And the clutches that are stage 4 and shit aren't made to be driven on the street.

Well I guess I'm fucked then.

Like I've stated, I've had positive and negative comments on CM. Hopefully this Competition Clutch will hold me over.

I have a competiton 6 puck in my hatch. It's holding over 600hp and 470+tq. Its a little hard on the leg, and defintely takes some getting used to. But it's done me well so far. Tilton Twin Disc is next

For what its worth, I made 400hp and 350tq before my OE clutch let go. But when it did let go it went quick.
