Very well said Kevin, I've been very pleased with the work and professionalism that performance autosports has extended. I really feel bad because I didn't want it to sound like I thought it was a problem with the tune. I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't something wrong with my car. Like I said in the previous post, I'm somewhat of a shade tree mechanic, and I installed the ported blower so I'm wondering if I did something. I have a buddy at work who is fighting a MAF issue on his twin turbo S4. I'm definitely upgrading to the bigger MAF soon. Good to know about the clutch and I did notice some residue on the idler pulley spokes, I have the billetflow idler set. I'm assuming there is some little belt slip. Like Kevin said I've been there three times, after each upgrade, and never had any problems with the tunes. Thanks again for your response Kevin.

your #'s are'nt too bad. i had PAS dyno my 1st 03 cobra. the car sat for aprox 1 hour on a very chilly night. we did 3 back-to-back pulls and on the 3rd pull i was down 23hp due to heat soak. so if you factor in 20-25hp for heat soak, youre at 485-490hp, which should be about right for your set-up. the magnaflow catted x-pipes dont flow quite as well as the other catted x's so you're probally loosing a few hp there. most of the 500+ hp guys w/ ported blowers are running 16-17 psi. w/ your 2.93 and stock lower, you're probally around 14-14.5psi ?

Sounds like a heat soak issue to me as well. The guys throwing down 500/500 with a similar setup to you, are they icing their reservoirs? If so that could be an easy 30+ right there...... I have faith in PAS's dyno as it has been spot on for me in the past.

twin turbo s4? My '00 S4 is silver and also twin turbo V6. I was slightly disappointed with my 341/371 all wheel mustang dyno numbers. I think guys seek out the higher reading dynos for bragging rights, more than for tuning purposes. Most likely, the guys with the 500 hp numbers did just that. In my case, (w/awd) the mustang dyno is known to read lower than dynojets but is great for before/after tuning comparisons. It's my opinion that most if not all awd dynojets read approx 30hp higher than mustangs.

What type of exhaust system do you have? I'm not familiar with your setup but 45hp can be had on my car with electric cutouts. It would be too loud on my car but it goes to show you how easy different turbo/sc'd cars with the same engine setup can vary by 30-40hp, just by having different exhaust setups. I have the very quiet but most restrictive aftermarket exhaust.

that's exactly what electric cutouts are for, to be quiet until you open them...

Yea, I guess that didn't sound right. I meant they would be too loud for me to open without worrying about getting pulled over, etc. The only way for me to install them is to weld them to my test pipe sections. That way I can still swap in my flanged cat sections for state inspection. If they pulled me over for the noise and wanted to inspect the exhaust, I'd be up a creek. What would the ticket be for no cats and cutouts? Then again, I bet they'd sound great wide open!

dynos are tools for tuning. It doesn't matter what numbers they are reading as long as you are able to see a noticable change in them while tuning. If you want to really have a good idea of your power rather than just going by what other people claim to have then take it to the track and look at your mph.
