ok i have a problem, the speedometer does not give out a reading. i believe it was working not too long ago, but now it kinda works when it wants to work. anyone know what could be the problem here? any help would be appreciated.

jsut go dn check the wiring and make sure everything is connected if its good...i dono what to tell you

 

I'm havin the same problem with my 96 EX. I like stays around 18 or so. And works when it feels like it. WTF is up??

 

i have the same problem with my 94 dx, it will just work at different times and then some of the time it will be a 0mph. On mine when it doesnt work the odometer also doesn't record any mileage. It has been doing it for about a week now. If you take yours to a shop to fix let me know what was wrong with it

 

so everything else works but the speedo?

sounds like you have a bad vss (vehicle speed sensor)

 

i figured it out, its the speedometer head =) replacing the cluster should fix it. i replaced my cluster and the speedo works once again.
