WTS: D16A1 longblock, still in car 171K
FS: 88 D16A1 DOHC @ 171K,
I got an 88 integra, dont need the stock motor so I'm selling it. It still in car, put a new dizzy on it a few weeks back, ran fine up til yesterday. car gets up to speed and then goes crazy after 2K or too much gas. I think its some sensors cause I put new plugs in it today and helped a little bit. car runs fine out of gear though.
Ill include the new dizzy with less than 1K miles on it, intake mani, fuel rail, injectors, throttle body, and flywheel. I need the tranny/clutch assembly,header and the accessories but you get the complete motor, no mounts or extras other than what is mentioned.
motor is still in car to prove its worth, I would need a $100 deposit in cash before I pull the motor. If I pull the motor and you back out, I'll be damned if I'm not getting paid for it. so dont try to BS. serious inquiries only asking $300 OBO trades for fresh high CR pistons, aftermarket D16 cam. I'll snap pics if necessary but its a stock unmolested motor that is kinda greasy. use your imagination. available to run the car any time before 4 usually any day, except saturday may 31. PM serious offers only, and I could possibly deliver.

I'm trying to get some expert info on whats up with the car. it runs perfect out of gear, and I can even baby it down the street short shifting, and it wont really mess up. its gotta be a sensor or something, I just put a brand new dizzy on this bitch. new NGK plugs too. If I fix the car, I might try to sell it though so if you might be interested feel free to shoot me a pm.
duh, forgot to say that I'll trade the motor for fresh D16 pistons(stock is ok, aftermarket is better. higher compression pistons preferred, as in higher than Y8 pistons.) I need a new crank, again for a Y8, stock is fine, aftermarket better. rings, maybe rods, not sure what my current one's condition is. I'm looking for a fresh valvetrain for my Z6 head. I need a vtec solenoid, I'm not sure what else. Im doing a build/rebuild and theres plenty of random stuff I need right now. I would also pay cash for these parts, although I'd prefer to deal with the motor first. PM serious offers, dont BS
