Turbonetics turbo F/S
I'll chime in, for those who don't know:
With a good intercooler, this turbo pushes enough air to make about 325-350 hp @ 15 psi. At the upper limit, the airflow is capable of close to 500 hp on a fully optimized package, and race fuel. 25 psi is the upper limit, because anything over this causes the turbo to overspeed the shaft, and superheat the air.
It has basically no tendency to surge, (Unlike a 57 trim) even on a 1.6L, with the listed exhaust side, and spools up pretty much like any other T3/T4 turbo, with the S3 Turbine side.
Basically, it provides great power over a wide range, but lacks the ultimate peak efficiencies of a T04E model turbo. This is a better choice for a street turbo, especially if intercooled, where getting every last HP out of it isn't critical. Especially true, given, that the odds of ending up in the central efficiency range of a T04E based turbo, are pretty slim in anything less than 2.5L and 400 hp.....
Good luck with the sale! If I had the $$, I'd buy it myself!
