well the stage 4 clutch we put in there was really aggressive and wifey let the motor over heat and the head gasket started leaking coolent in the oil. So of course the oil went to shit and the clutch pressure on the thrust washer caused the thrust washer to "spin" for lack of some better terminology needless to say the thrust washers were in the bottom of the oil pan when i dropped it to rebuild the bottom end.
Any way long story short the main gurder (is that spelled right) is screwed all up from the crank grinding all up against it so we tried to rebuild it and it spun a rod bearing like three or four days later. so maybe a fresh set of rods will do the motor good justice. i don't know and am in no way going to rebuild it again.
time for the dually swap.
