This e-coutout also has a lighted switch, green to open and brown to close, so you know which way to push the switch.

How well does that thing hold up to the weather?

I daily drive my car and I'd LOVE to have that thing.

Yeah man my friend who drives 350 miles from richmond to his school in west virginia(snow/ice/salt) has a E cut-out and he hasnt had any problems. The thing is pretty bad ass lol on my rb25 240 it sounded like a v8 cobra with it open and close it purrs like a stock civic. its funyn seeing the looks on peoples faces.

my friend who drives to west virginia kept getting exhaust tickets so he threw his stock exhuast on put his e-cut-out.

they give you like 30 ft of wire so you can route it WHEREVER you want but I just ziptied the bunch behind my cd player and ran just enough wire through my shifter down into my tranny where the exhaust was at. i wired the 12v power souce to my audio power and a ground to a random screw. connected the swithc wire to the motor on the cut out and rolled out. i had my switch right next to my cd player.
