i have a ls longblock with a ls tranny. the motor never knocked at all. its just old and tired. needs new rings. throw in some new rings and your good to go. i would put in new bearings and hone it while your in there though, not needed, but it cant ever hurt. the tranny could use a rebuild as well but still shifts fine. has grinds in most of the gears if i remember right. i will sell seperate if wanted. ill take any reasonable offer. thanks for looking.
