Are the wires cut on the tachs? They all work right? Why do you have so many?

the wires are cut for a 4 cyl... everytime i buy a car i get a tach in it and i dont like the way they look and i have an ex cluster with a 9k tach on it and thats all i need.. and yea they all worked when i pulled them out
