i'd probably be interested in this for my car, but i've seen the fitment and quality of the S-fab stuff first hand. Dude that builds those kits had my buddies hatch for the better part of 6-months to "custom build" his kit. at the end of the build the turbo mani was such that the wastegate and intercooler had to have a 1/4inch piece of steel between them so the intercooler would not be broken. the entire intercooler/piping assembly was all held on with zipties. mind you, this was a setup that was supposed to make upwards of 500hp, i just dont think zipties are "custom" work. come to find out, most everything in this kit is ebay parts with an s-fab plaque welded onto it.

im not bashing on your thread, and there may VERY well be NOTHING WRONG with this kit, i just dont want you or anyone else to be suprised when they call you back and tell you it fits like shyt. Good luck

One of my close friends even SELLS these kits and i talked to him about them earlier. I've seen the work and it is well known that he uses EBAY parts. The turbos have been known to fail, the pipes dont generally fit, the wastegates and bov's dont work either. other than that it's a great kit. good luck

no story has been passed along 12 times. if you took the time to read my first post i have SEEN his work on my buddies car after he had the thing for 6 months. this is the same friend who is selling these kits and has installed 2-3 recently. im not gonna go outta my way to post about something that was told to someone by a cousins brother's sister who had a friend of a friend...that's just retarded.

That said, i would prefer to quit the hijack on this guys thread and let him sell his parts, if you'd like to discuss this matter further, shoot me a pm

 

i dont know anything about your friends kit, but this kit is great in everyway. the welding of the manifold and downpipe, (which is the parts s-fab makes) are awesome on my kit. the bov and wastegate and intercooler, which are not made by s-fab look like well built peices. i dont know why anyone would hold anything together with zip ties, when this paticular kit comes with couplers and clamps. maybe you were trying to do a nice thing, but all your really doing is bashing my for sale thread and hurting my sale.

That being said, kit is still pending sale, i have been paypal'd the money and it should clear tomm.
