Description:

I have a 2000 b16a2 that was converted to OBD1 for my 2000 civic. This engine was rebuilt by a shop in Southern California in July 2006 with JE rods, JE 8.5/1 forged low compression pistons. It has been bored out 20 over as well. It has a block guard, exedy clutch, lightened flywheel, and upgraded retainers on the head (I think that is what the shop said they did to the head, was only like 75 bucks). I put maybe 15,000 miles on the engine with 7-8 pounds of boost.

Anyway, recently, my autometer oil pressure gauge broke off right above the oil pump which of course pumped the oil out and the engine seized. Unfortunately for me I did not have the time to fix it and ended up doing a complete swap for a stock b16a1 which I had all said and done in 2 days (this is my commuter car). I had all the work done at Auto Upgrade in Chantilly a few weeks ago. They said the bearings between the rods and the crank disintegrated which locked up the motor. They said the rest of the engine seemed fine. I would imagine the rings would need replacing too though at a minimum.

It is not a COMPLETE swap though because the shop did not give me back all my parts, like the stock headers from the new b16 I picked up, and some motor mounts I think. I do have the stock ECU for it and a wiring harness.

Anyway I am just looking to get this engine out of my garage and would prefer to sell all of it together for 675.
