I dont think your problem is the people who dont offer you enough for your time, but your failure to realize that you over paid for parts and labor. You can easily get those parts and machine work/sleeves for under $3,000. If you were smart you would keep the block and use it with a nice turbo set-up, or maybe post it somewhere else than vadriven or ebay. Good luck with your sale.

Its nice stuff, but I dont see too many people on here paying that much for it.

Not to jump on the defense, but I got most parts at cost because of connections I have at shops in Baltimore. I think the prices are well below average for brand new parts. Now granted, you can get these parts cheaper from idiots that pay for them new, than realize that it takes about $6k more to build everything else. As for the labor, I dont know what the going rate is. But I guess you're saying that Abacus overcharged me? Like I said, first time I've ever got a block sleeved and built.

As to keeping it, I would if I had all of the required parts to go along with it. Hopefully someone is looking buy this stuff. I'm not asking for what I paid. I am putting the prices out there for peoples knowledge on how much this type of stuff goes for. Though the people that go all out like this, probably know anyhow.

Please keep the the rest of your thoughts untyped unless you are a paying customer. The rod price and piston price was $725 for anyone that is TRULY interested. As for the filed rings and bearings for $605.54. I will copy the invoice:

File Fit Rings $70
ACL Race Bearings $153.40
Balance Rotating Assembly $175
Installation of rotating assembly $180
4% EPA charge $10
S&H $8.54
Tax $8.60

Which is a grand total of $605.54. Read the entire description without leaving parts out! Please don't confuse me for some ignorant kid that knows nothing about this sport. Been into this empty pocket sport for over 8 years. Buy it, ask questions with good intentions, or shut the fuck up!
