have you tried contacting blizz to see if your account was still there? A friend of mine stopped playing for a year once the exp came out he wanted to start playing again. He talked to blizz and his account/chars were still there.

You might wanna look into that route.

 

I had given away my old account because I didn't plan on starting the game back up again.

i tryed telling you a 52 war on pvp ready for transer but not tbc enabled

 

Still leveling atm, but I got a 53 Druid on Bloodscalp, Tauren Horde ;p
and a 34 Lock on (forget server name) BE Horde
