I have 2 brand new ones, one used one(personal, modded the fuck out, mostly for testing), 6 "sixaxis" black controllers, and mgs4 + gta4 all for sale. Just remember this, ttheres way more diff then the size of the hdd in each model. The original 20gig version, dont even support wireless. The 40gb versions, arent compatible with ANY original ps1 games(only some ps2). the list goes on, but you get my point. Also for blue ray, the cable the system comes with are complete shit, might as well hang yourself with it if trying to watch something in 1080. I'll hook you up with a totally new unused one, with nib unused hdmi1.3cable(if you want one, if not reduce cost by $5) and two controllers instead of one for $335, no tax either!! seriously

ok, how much "made doe" are you "tryin" to spend. I'll throw in cod4, but subtract 1 controller and the premium cable. so you're looking at a normal setup plus the game you want, for the price i stated. The game is used, the ps3 is not.

The 40 Gig PS3s can run most PS1 games, but cannot run any of the PS2 games.

think you got that backwards, not me, but again, I could be mistaken.

eitherway, the original 80gb versions at shipping, used hardware to make them compatible, and even then it was like 80+% only, the new 80gb that came with mgs bundle, uses s/w(firmware) for compat, but still only 90+%

You are mistaken. The 40gb PS3 does not have the EE (Emotion Engine) found in the PS2. The 20, 60, 80gb PS3s do. PS1 compatibility has always been done via software emulation on the PS3. Therefore only PS1 compatibility was retained on the 40gb PS3.
