the head unit i have in my tacoma just shitted out on me the other day. so im looking to find something to put in its place.

im looking for a flip up or regular...depending on the price

i have a pioneer in it now but like it said it shitted out on me.


im not an audio guy so i dont know alot about sterio systems so any help would be appreciated..can i use an upgraded flip up head unit with my wiring harness already with the system i have in it now? or wats the deal.

i was also looking at maybe getting a regular touch screen that would just be inserted in the opening i have because a flip up might interfeer with my ac controls.

im not sure of the opening i have but its pretty big because the unit in there is quite big it has a cd and casette player..haha.

let me know if you want it...i just got it repaired by best buy under my protection plan..(it wouldnt eject the cd's sometimes...like 10 times out of 100)..but now it works like new...

 

ok if you dont want to change your whole dash setup then you might want to get a regular deck like the one above^. i have a jvc one the newest one i think. most flip outs require a dash kit witch takes out your dash and replace it some other dash that will fit the flip out. and your current wiring wont work( i dont think so) because some wires wont go with each other. ( dont really know). but if youe looking for a simple deck i could sell you my deck.
