It's not really a matter of having to have a brand name, its about KNOWING if you have to pull it than it will fire. That's why most people who own guns buy nice ones.

hi-points sell because they are cheap and come with life time warranty.they are good guns to keep in car because you would not lose sleep if it was stolen. losing 140 bucks is better than losing 500 dollars or more.

That is true, the only thing is you wont lose sleep either when you pull your gun to defend your self and it doesn't fire, because you will be dead.

Im with him on this one! I vote for the usp .45 compact. its the best gun I have ever shot. It feels like you are shooting a 9mm but you really got a cannon

i had a hi point and had to send back to factory twice bullets kept getting lodged in barrel got it back sold it a got the glock imo spend a little more get a lot more glock or h&k all the way

id rather throw a hi point at some one than try to shoot at them with itif my life was on the line
they are almost as bad as the davis and jennings that were out 4 a while
