not at all, they will give you some sense of depth perception, but when it comes down to it a 5.1 headset will be better, theres a reason your 20$ headset is 20$ and these are 100+. and if you think you can play cs good, do it on lan 1v1 at apex say 1k$? put your money where your mouth is and lets do it.
. But to those who think price = quality i'm sure these are awesome!

btw on the headphone note I have and amazing sense of depth perception as it is in CS and I can walk around an follow people through walls like I can see them (freaks the hell out of my brother) and if your curious I do lan as well (ichester when it was open, web2zone in NY, and c3 in nova. I've played calm and cevom as well for a few seasons.

If it's not far I could possibly do it next weekend (gf permitting) and i'm not going to play you for money 1v1 in a game that is team based but i'll gladly come play for shits an giggles. ichester was nice for small tournaments, c3 well.. if you've been there it's a joke.. web2zone is really nice, lanferno was nice way back when and the shittiest lan center known to man .. levelup near the beach DON'T go there it's terrible.

yea i know some of the guys on vigor and about x3o we were actually planning on going to one of there tourneys before i ended up quitting cs, and yea c3 was a joke when I went there byoc lans FTL. We should start up a dragva 1.6 team rofl.
