I paid more than that for my XTi a little over a year ago.

 

The xti is awesome but I liked the xsi better. They are both great cameras. I have no need for 2 of them anymore. Need this thing gone.

 

The main difference, from what I can tell, is that the kit lens on the XSi has IS. That's a really nice feature.

It has few differences, mostly they were the MP rating...from 10.1 to 12.2.
The screen is larger: from 2.5" to 3" and also the lense of course.
