Specs/Info from their site:

"For drummers and MIDI composers on a budget, the Alesis DM5™ offers professional performance features and an excellent selection of drum, percussion and special effect samples. The DM5 puts over 540 sounds into a single rack space, many recorded in true stereo and with ambient effects. Both classic Alesis studio drum sounds and new cutting-edge sounds for the latest musical styles are well represented. You'll find a great selection of kicks, snares, toms, hi-hats, percussion instruments, special effect samples and more. Plus, the DM5's Expanded Dynamic Articulation™ feature allows drum sounds to change volume, tone, and pitch depending on how hard they're hit – just like real drums. $250 is a fucking steal.

Any chance I could hear it? I'm looking for a good module, and the DM5 is the only one I haven't heard in person.

Yea, no problem. I don't have any of my equipment setup but if you already have your own e-drums I can bring it by and hook it up. I also picked up the midi-usb cable to test it out with cubase + ezdrummer. Works pretty well.

I don't have any triggers around. They're all at my studio. I'll see if we can figure something out.

Ion set works perfectly with Rockband and just as good with the DM5. Everything is pretty solid. I'm going to test it out with GH: WT when it comes out. Definitely a great way to get into drumming/making beats/recording. I will also consider trades for a PS3 or iphone 3g.
