USED MACBOOK $500
**the backlight is finicky and cuts out on occasion...easily fixable! click here if you want to buy a perfectly working macbook**
I bought it in early 2008 for $1300 (has the 4GB RAM upgrade)
Since I use it for work and I quite a bit of graphics work on it, I can't have the backlight issue. I just ordered a macbook pro to replace it.
MacBook 4,1
Intel Core 2 DUO 2.4 GHz
4GB memory
800 MHz Bus Speed
There are a few little cosmetic flaws but it's in great shape.
The only problem is that the screen backlight is finicky. It can be repaired for $130 through apple though.
It's got Office 2009 and Adobe CS3 which will be included unless i can't delete my files off of it w/o removing the programs.
CASH IN HAND, NO TRADES, PICK UP ONLY
It will be ready to pick up early next week *I have to receive and transfer all of my files over*

Re: USED MACBOOK $500
i'm at work and it's at hoem but i'm pretty sure it's a 250 gig HD
the backlight occasionally cuts out at a certain screen tilt but will come back if you just flap the screen around a bit
again, it's an easy fix at apple for like $130 or something.
the backlight thing probably happens 50% of the time but literally only effects like 10 degrees in the range of screen tilt and it's never in the exact same place

Re: USED MACBOOK $500
Gotcha. So, does it do it when you boot it, or when you adjust the screen, or what?
I guess what I'm asking is, say I boot it up, and have the screen working, and don't change the angle... will it do it randomly, or only if moved?
