SATAjet 4000 HVLP Paint gun
Name: Nate
Location: Gloucester
Means of contact: 757 eight six nine 6581
Price: $300
I'm selling one of my spray guns, just for the fact it's sitting. It's a Satajet 4000 HVLP Digital 1.3tip. I'm pretty sure I have the box still. It's in a great shape and sprays perfect. Switched to waterborne now and the RP 4000's do a better job with the product I'm using.
It sprays solvent base well. I wouldn't know about clearing with it as I've never used anything other than an RP or Iwata for clearcoats. I do know there's a few people around that clear with the HVLP and like it, its just not my style. I haven't posted a pic because I'm replacing the packing just for the resale because if anything wears out on the gun itself its that. I should have it tomorrow and reassembled.
People who are spraying PPG water prefer using the HVLP with the WSB Needle/Cap setup. (1.25 tip)
No trades. I figured I'd go local before hitting up Ebay. Price is firm. I payed 690 for it originally.
Call or Txt. Can send a pic if necessary.
