Agreed. They need both a UVA/UVB capable lamp, AND a nice amount of natural sunlight to be healthy.


OP: What kind of diet do you have him on, how often do you actually feed him, and when was the last time his nails were clipped?

He does look pretty small, but assuming he's generally healthy, correcting his diet should be a simple fix.

Dang yours is big! (no homo) I still have the light but he never seemed to like it. He does get all the sunlight of the day. I feed him crickets and he also has pelets and plenty of water. I often leave crickets in the exhibit with food so he can eat as he pleases. And honestly I have never had his nails clipped.
