tv works but has the blue blob or blue star pattern i did some research and found that sony released a bulletin AFTER they were sued because of this problem so i contacted them and was told basically to fuck off because i did not have this problem prior to december of last year was when they ended the extended warranty for this set. but i did find a place on the internet that will rebuild the optical block or light engine for 300.00 plus shipping so basically you buy this from me take out the optical block send it to TSM and have a flawless picture i may still do it if i can figure out how to get the block out. posted up here for tv service and some one posted me back they would charge me 100.00 to pull it and 100.00 to put it back in but i was told by another tech that if i could assemble a childs bike then i could easily pull this one out.
