Looking for a scout as my winter beater. Older the better, I like the older ones. Mechanically sound is important over looks. Manual trannys take preference, along with how close you are. no basket cases want something I could drive right away or do a small amount of work on to get on the road with.

We jsut bought one all the way in Kansas. the 800 series is a rare breed now. call the guy at scout parts .com he's really helpful. if you come across one that was gonna be a rock crawler in pretty good condition thats the one i bought. good luck on your search. its deff an amazing vehicle
