Cool 97 F150 PreRunner for sale! in Sandbridge(VB) **Pictures**

Well, the family has gotten to large for me to justify having a regular cab truck, so up for sale she goes. I am the second owner and the original owner was my grandfather.

She is a two wheel drive prerunner truck. It has 315/75/r16" Mud Terrains on it right now. I put them on in July and they have maybe 2000 miles on them. When i put the new tires on in July I also put on the new rims. They are 16x10 Mickey Thompson Classic Locks (Street Beadlocks) They are polished aluminum. I also have the stock rims and tires that are in good shape if the buyer wants them. I have a 6" Fabtech Long travel Lift System in the front and i put Deaver Long travel springs in the back. Deaver says that they flex 16-18 inches. If you know about lifts, then you will know Deaver's name. The front has held up great as well. It has Rancho RS9000 shocks on all four corners (these are the adjustable type so you can set them to your ride preference).

She has all new lifetime warrantied MOOG joints in the entire front end - I put them in in July when the new tires and wheels went on. All the steering components were replaced at this time with MOOG components as well. Nothing was broken, I knew that adding the larger wheels would add stress to the front end, so i put in top quality components.

She runs synthetic mobil 1 oil in the motor and Amsoil synthetics everywhere else(rear diff and transmission). The truck has the oil and filter changed at 5k mile intervals since it was new. The fuel filter has been changed every 15k miles since new. Remember that i know this because it was owned by my grandfather and this was the only way i could buy the truck from him(to keep up the service). I installed a huge RV size transmission cooler up in front with the radiator when the transmission went out in June 2005 due to an overheat issue. I added a 3 gauge pillar in the cab(oil press, water temp, and trans temp)as well as put in the RV sized transmission cooler. I have not seen the transmission go over 180* since then - even with towing small loads or a loaded bed. The replacement transmission came brand new from the ford plant in Kentucky.

The interior had a large stereo in at one time, however it has a simple Alpine CD player now with after market infinity speakers. The interior has been sound deadened with Second Skin Sound Deadener -- This has made a huge difference on interior and road noise. One issue on the interior that i can not seem to fix is the blinker lever will not return after you complete your turn, you have to click it off.(they work fine you just have to click it off) this is after having been to ford and fixed 3 times. I have given up now. The interior has a bench seat. It is an XL so it has manual windows, however when the alarm was put in, it was upgraded to power locks.

The truck has 149k mils on it right now. The motor was replaced by Ford in 2000 when it had 78k miles on it. So it currently has 71k miles on it. I replaced the transmission with a brand new unit from Ford in 2005 and it had 131k on it at the time, so it has 18k miles on it. This is the most reliable vehicle in my garage(and i own two 2006 model trucks.) I would drive this truck anywhere in the country right now without question. (It made the trip from San Diego to here in Feb 06 and only required gas the whole way). It is the v6 engine and auto transmission if i failed to mention that above. I upgraded the rear axle gears in 2004 to 4.10's. The truck has been getting 17-19 miles to a gallon.

The air conditioning works awesome in this truck as I and my grandfather are HVAC licensed technicians. The heat also works excellent and will cook you if your not careful.

I have receipts for pretty everything that has ever been done to this truck that i will give to the new owner(i will have to go through with a sharpie to mark out my personal information.) The truck carries a lifetime warranty on a lot of components(i buy all important components directly from Ford, so they typically will not be warrantied). It also has a lifetime alignment deal at any Firestone tire store in the country.

The truck has chromemoly steel bumpers front and rear. They are powdercoated electric blue. See pictures. This truck has only ever been in one accident, and that was here in Virginia - I rear ended a Chevy Colorado - the damage to the F150 was non-existant and only left a minor white scrath on the front bumper and was easily buffed out. These bumpers are bulletproof -- I feel very safe with my wife driving this truck.

I am sure that i have missed some things in my way too long of a listing, so email me (JUSTINKING060310@YAHOO.COM) or call me if you would like to know more. thanks for looking. I am asking $7500 for the truck but i will consider other reasonable offers.
