You measure from the center of one monting hole to the center of the other. You also have to let the tape measure follow the arch of the spring. You are basically measuring it if it was flat.

incorrect on letting it fallow it . . cuz it will appear longer . . . should measure just from eye to eye . . straight acrross . . my 52 inch stock springs are 52 acrross eye to eye . . the 56 inches I had that were 4 inch were 56 eye to eye . . .and the 52 inch lowering flat drag springs I have are 52 from eye to eye. . .
