I have a 1985 toyota 1 ton pickup for sale. It needs a new headgasket is the only thing. I will have picks up later on this evening. Clean title in hand. Looking to get 300 obo.

 

i am very very interested. is it 4wd.. solid front axle right

If Im not mistaken, its a dual rear wheel 2wd truck.... like the same platforms for small campers. Those are the only 1 ton toyota 4cyls that I ever knew about in the 80s

btw, the rear axle is worth way more than 300 if its a dually..... check www.car-part.com (mostly b.c they just dont exist anymore)

 

No it isn't 4wd it RWD. It's not dually either, it has the really stout leaf springs in the back.... not sure if it's solid front axle.

I put it in the 4x4 section because it's a truck and i know more people interested in something like this would be looking in this section i suppose.......

I don't know man you'd have to ask toyota, I'm not the manufacturer. The truck says 1 TON on the sides and has really strong leaf springs in the rear.......i would asssume that makes it a 1 TON truck, unless toyota didn't know what the fuck they were talking about.

 

ive been trying to figure out how it is a 1 ton haha. ive honeslty never heard of a toyota 1 ton. if it was 4wd id def get it so i could use the axles on the samurai

 

any idea what kind of rear axle it has?
