Which route did you take for a front driveshaft? Is there any easy method of doing it without lengthening a factory sfa driveshaft or making a new one?

Well i took my factory ifs front drive shaft and lengthened it. wasnt hard just bought a 2.5" od sch 40 pipe and welded the yokes to it. Or anothere route is square tube drive shafts. I had to lengthen my a lot since i had the double t-case

Yeah, i imagine i'll just get mine lengthened or get a longer spline kit. I thought about the square shaft method cause it would be cheap but I don't think I could deal with the vibrations.

i just gave jesse a call at highangle. He gave me exactly what i needed. You might also have some luck with Cecil at gregory's. The vibrations not too bad on the square shaft unless you're doing some racing. If you're just crawling, I wouldn't worry about it.

call up springs menders. they are local and only bout 100 to 200 to get your lengthend and balanced i think. i know they are cheap and can build what ever you want. And this is your front driveshaft right. You wont have to worry bout vibrations as long as you have manual hubs. just unluck them and your front will just float and your driveshaft doesnt spin, so no vibration on road. So you wouldnt have to worry bout square drive shafts as long as its the front and manual hubs to drive on the road.

Oh really? I wasn't sure if the front driveshaft spun or not. If thats the case I may very well just cut of the cv's and make a square shaft.
