Re: wheelin spots
How about George Washington National Forest? Shoe Creek is a nice run. Good camping at crabtree meadow and visit the falls. It is not real difficult, stock to moderate modifications. The trail is all rocks and creek crossings.
Or
Stoney Run (Big Meadows) in the GWNF. It is near Sherando Lake. There are a few chanenging detours. There is even a little mud on the end of the trail.
Both are 2 to 4-hour runs. They are close together if you spend the night. Plus you are in the forest.
Crozet is good too, but you need to know what to expect. The first time I went I was very intimidated.

Re: wheelin spots
I'm willing to go with a group, I can get a trailer so if someone breaks we can get them back to the 757 area. I will also be bringing my ATV too if a trip is a go so even if you don't have a 4x4 you can still bring a ATV and have fun!!
