I'll play too. I cranked them on my Durango after putting longer shackles in the rear and had no problems and as far as I know the new owner hasn't had any problems either.

i also have a 2000 1500 chevy silverado and plan on doing the same how much lift can you get by cranking the torsion bars on this truck . im trying to put 33 under it ... let me know how cranking the torsion bars effect you and how much lift you gained?

i got an inch and a half or two, and the alignment wasnt even that bad, and u will definetly be able to fit 33s

Y don't you buy a leveling kit for your truck? Torsion bars aren't a bad idea though!

i know that if you crank the torsion bars all the way up youll wear something out faster than normal, my neighbor was telling me thats what happens on toy's

yeah but even if you do wear shit out, you can go to your next door neighbors house and yoke his shit, because everyone and there mother, and the kid in the moms belly owns yota's... case in point, my neighbor is a tow truck driver, towed a abandoned seafoam green 83? yota today, dropped it off for 30 minutes, i stripped off the bull bar, truck box, and nerf bars... only to find out only the box fits

theft? no, the truck was ABANDONED, oceana salvage got the title for it, and my neighbor asked if i could take parts off of it, which they said they dont care, its getting crushed anyways, so yes call it theft if you like, it wasnt someones personal truck anymore, but i had permission to take the parts

edit- i guess your talking about "yoke your neighbors shit" i dont actually do that, just saying theres more than enough parts out there
