Ah, started driving at about 1PM and just got home at 7PM... Drove all the way to Covington and just explored everything I could in between. Any interesting roads, scenery, trails, etc. Weather was absolutely perfect. I did almost die though. I went to Craig Creek and put my feet in the water. I was walking back to the Jeep and there was a BIG ASS snake curled up near the drivers side that I didn't even see when I got out. When I say big, I mean it was considerably bigger than some peoples pet pythons that I've seen. It was about as big around as my arm and I'd have to guess it was several feet long. I don't know enough about snakes to really fuck with them, so I hopped in and went about my business.

Nice pics man! I don't mind snakes when I see them.... it the ones that you don't see that get to me. You know, the last minute ones that decide to move. Screw that. lol
Pics of mine from a ride at a friends house the other day.
Loading it up to get it home...
I like these kind of shots.

That Sammy is a freaking beast! Looking forward to seeing it one of these days. Would like to wheel with you one day if we ever get together. Thinking about doing a Potts run with SCC4X4 soon.
As for the snakes, that's the problem... I didn't see it when I walked past it the first time, but when I saw it the second time walking back to the Jeep I realized that I was no more than a foot away from it the first time. I'm not even sure if it was dead or alive because I didn't mess with it or get a good look, but that's still not something you want to have startle you. LOL!

Ya, I've had a couple run ins with snakes like that. They don't scare me any, I just like to know where they are. I hate that feeling knowing you stepped SO close to one and didn't even know it...
Thanks you sir, it does OK.
You should really try and make it out to our next run whether it be at SC, a friends prop, wherever!
