Hey, No stealing the fire! lol! Nahhh, I don't care man. If its that bad I'll just sleep in the Jeep.

We have been camping up there and 15' away from the fire our water jugs were freezing but 15' inside fire ring we were walking around in T-shirts and pants. That was weird.

The only trail I have ever ran in the snow was Bobcat in Blacksburg and a trail that used to be here in Lynchburg called Bald Mountain. I hope to be able to hit ShoeCreek this year! (with snow on it)

Me to. I miss the washout. I have broken many a part there.
Bald Mountain is now Liberty Mountain. Liberty University bought the land and put that Snowflex center and lodge up there.
Peavine (sp?) is just a trail. No obstacles, just mud holes. If it rains it gets pretty slick and fun to play in once or twice a year but muds not my thing.

If you go up to snoflex and then take a left it'll take you out past the big LU rock, piece of shit thing, and if you keep goin you'll come out on the backside of a mountain thats completely tree-less. I'm guessing bald mountain? There's 2 or 3 trails that branch off of that one. I drove around up there for a few hours last summer.. now theres signs up everywhere about 'authorized vehcles only'

Bald Mountain is / was where the Snowflex is now. Snowflex was built right on top of it. The big LU is on the Mountain beside it. There was a fire on the mountain years ago from a dumb ass who set a fire and it just burned the top of it. The original trail is now smooth and paved and goes all the way to the top. The trail used to go all the way over to Camp Hideaway (off Candlers Mtn. Rd.). Now its a biking / hiking trail. ( GHEY ) I've got some old pics of up there I'll have to show you sometime. It used to be a pretty decent trail.

Add boostedavenge (pikappwhatevathafux) to that list of going. He's the one going up with me to camp out. So we will be there Sat. if anyone wants to camp out with us.
