yep . . and i've hooked up in 2wd to a 4wd 7.3 turbo deisel and was holding my own till I busted the straps out the rear and yoke off the t-case . . . and that was before I rebuilt the motor

 

don't get me wrong, gas is the only way to roll when you are talking about mud. diesel is just way too heavy. My favorite play toy I ever had was my 84 Yota.

oh yeah we weren't in the mud when we hooked up . . .pulled me out and continued to try and drag me around so already on the disadvantage cuz was going backwards when I started pulling

 

7.3L's are hard to beat when you are hookin up. My 6.0L is no where near stock but I will get drug by 7.3L with half of the power I have. The boost on a 7.3L comes on nice and steady. My 6.0L goes from none to about 36 instantly and then 48 in a about 2 seconds. All this does is gernades my tires.
