Why not run Chevy springs in the rear? Better flex than Marlin, though a bit less lift. I have a set I would sell you for $50. I'm in NOVA. BTW, I have a worn set of 35" SSRs on black rock crawlers, if you wanted to get em unmounted, you could have all 4 for $75.

BTW, did you use the Marlin kit? I need to SAS my 88 4runer. The damned Galant VR4 takes far too much of my money, though.

My daily.

i didnt use chevys, simply because i didnt want to i wanted to stay with all toyota. my original plan was to do a 3/4 elliptic leaf spring setup, so i would get plenty of flex... well i scrapped that idea and jsut threw yota springs under it... later i will change the rears out to marlins 5" springs... or maybe a 4link king coil???

no i didnt use the marlin kit, i used factory toyota hangers, and a 2" reciever hitch for the front hanger, the rear was toyota hangers and Sky-manufacturing shackle hangers. i used marlins shock hoops, and i used f350 6" lift shocks.

i used marlins rotors, and IFS calipers. as well as brakelines.

The sas is simple, if you stick with toyota, it can be done in 8 hrs of work... very straight forward. just start collecting parts... and regardless of what ANYONE says, DONT DONT DONT use a d44 on that truck... it makes no since.

btw... if you need a hood/tailgate/fender/door for that truck... lemme know, ive got plenty.

bullshit... prove it.

i guarentee you that my toy axle will last just as long as your d44 there is hardly any difference in the ring gear size, and the only way people eat up axles is by driving stupid.

hows the sas workin for ya.... i know you are glad to have it back... and believe me im glad to get it out of my garage that thing was a bitch.

I don't know it's in there somewhere. It's whatever. It probably wasn't worth it, but I like it. I'm just trying to get 4wd back. I'll probably give Tim a call sometime this week.
