Default My Jeep

Hi, I'm new here.

How I bought it in Feb this year

A few weeks ago at Crozet

Mods I've done so far: 2.5" Old Man Emu suspension lift, 1.25" JKS body lift, 33" Mickey Thompson MTZs, and I rolled it.

Insurance is sending me $3k in the mail this week, I'm going to buy a new soft top and soft doors, maybe a front locker, engine skid, and rear bumper / tire carrier.

Yessir. Bought it for $11.5k, and a 5 year power train for $1k. Out the door for $13k total.

Thanks to everyone else. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I would've kept the bling blings and threw some iroks on them or something and thrashed the hell out of em... seriously.
But, I also like what you've done with it.

Heh. I would've loved to, but it's my DD. I've got to keep it sane until I get another Jeep to replace this one as DD. I'm thinking of keeping this one as a show truck / recovery vehicle, and buying an old 97 4 banger as a project. Hack off all the sheet metal, chop the frame, tube it into a full roll cage, 44" tires, blah blah blah... Trailer it everywhere.

Why not? Get some 1 ton axles and some 5.36 gears... Match that up to an Atlas 4 speed 10:1, and you've got one hell of a crawl ratio.

Hey, don't call my 97 Jeep 4 banger old... you stole its top!!..

The 4cyl sucks as a daily driver even with 31's.. I am going to get 4.88 gears with 33" tires..

spend the extra $500 and get a 6cyl
