Default jeep wrangler TJ

hey guys i'm looking at getting a wrangler TJ and had a few concerns about it. i was talking to my brother and he says they get broken in to all the time and i figured if you have a jeep like that you don't keep valuable things in them. is it true they get broken into alot or vandalized? are there any problems with them that any of you have experienced or seen that isn't coverd under any kind of warrenty or even recall? Just how good are they at off road? i want to get just a simple 4 or 5in lift with 33's.

I've had my jeep over a year, and no problems thus far. Just dont keep valuables in it, and if you - put it in the lock box or something.

Oh, and dont lock your doors. They'll jsut cut the shit out of your top. So I rather them just open the door and find nothing than to shredd my top and still...find nothing.

94 TJ ? You mean YJ by any chance ??

Anyway .... I've been through quite a few Jeeps . Hell ... my 1st had a 3" bodylift and a trailmaster budget boost ( 2"spacers ) and was on 33s and sat rather nicely above them . I pretty much left the top and doors off ( stowed the top back > it was always there just in case ) and had a 12" Kicker and a pretty nice xtant amp in the back and no one EVER screwed with it . Just get yourself a good security system with a motion sensor that warns and theifs will usually shy away . Peeps also knew I worked in the audio industry and had top notch security so that prolly also helped . But yeah > don't fret !! Only thing I would recommend is suntan lotion ! I had a bad rep for being sunburnt on MANY occasions !! hahaha .

Jeeps are fun and cheep to build man. For if they can wheel. They can hold there own on the trails. But its still a heep. If it is a YJ just do a spring over with the stock springs, cheap lift and will flex real nice.
