are there any bigger/better engines i can fit into my 92 isuzu rodeo 3.1L V6 5 speed if soo let me kno please cuz my 3.1L V6 is a P.O.S thanks and if i can get one for a good price who ever gets it for me i will give them a lil $$$$ also soo let me kno thanks

i made a thread about this a few months ago.. bascially isuzu rodeos in general are P.O.S's but if you wnated a bigger motor i think someone said you could fit the isuzu diesel engine in it pretty easily... not sure though.. hopefully someone will ring in to tell you more ha...

how are the isuzu diesels?....and if i did manage to drop it in my rodeo would it be a good trail/muddin truck? if anybody can give me sum advice PM me please

you can use a camaro 3.4 from 93-97. you have to use your accessories and intake and exhaust manifolds.

i know alot of trooper guys go with the gm 4.3 but i have no idea if this works for the rodeo.

check out independent4x.com and they might be able to point you in the right direction

you could also swap in a GM narrow angle (60 deg) v8 into the current running gear.
