how to get Salt off my new rims?!?!
ok so i just put 17inch MT classic II on my new f-150 well i also have 2 jet skis that i take out everyweekend. at the boat landing salt water got splashed up on the back two rims and the time i go off the water and got home it had like stained the rims from the salt. iv tryed everything to get it off...any speical things to get salt off my rims? thanks ahead of time
I just tried Mothers wheel polish on mine, it worked ok. I ran out of patience, but with enough effort and time they would shine back up. I even tried the Mother's polishing ball, it sucks ass. It does not work like shown on tv, save your money. Mine are too far gone to ever look new again.
I have the same rims as well, with what looks like water spots on them. I tried the Mother's polish too, which shined them up nice, but didn't take away the spots. So if anybody has anymore suggestions, let me know
I have owned 2 sets of classic 2's. The best thing you can get is the mothers Billet (sp) polish. It cost about twice as much and the regular mothers mag polish. Use a small rag and a lot of elbow greese and you will be just fine.
