Default Avalanche

I'm lookin for a decent set up for my avalanche. the common 6" and 35's don't look like its gonna be big enough for me. Seeing if anybody has any suggestions on it.

No clue what to go with but I know you have to lift the hell out of them to clear those fenders.

I dont know about a 3 inch body lift on an avalanche, or 38's on factory axles. I think a 6 inch lift sus. lift with some nice wheels and tires would look nice.

I just wish a 6" lift were available for my Trailblazer...I'd buy it in a second. I personally wouldn't go more than a 35 without changing the gear on the truck...and even that's pushing it a little. it would hold up fine...but be slow as hell, and you'd loose so much grunt on stock gears, especially with 38's. It would look sweet as hell though...another option, if you didn't want to go with the 3" body, would be to find some pocket style fender flares if they're available, and actually cut the fender a little (as bad as that sounds).

I was already thinking about gearing it. That 5.3 ain't gonna have too much ass to it with stock gears and 35's.
