what size motor is in it? the sloppiness of the column can be fixed but it has to be taken apart a good amount and tighten 3 screws in the column. or you could just get a replacement column. let me know what size motor is in it and i may be able to help with the oil pressure issue. 2.8...4.3 tbi....4.3 vortec???
miles??

if you pull the carpet up a little bit down by the gas pedal you will see like 4 bolts that attach the column to the fire wall and they worked there self loose....common problem just tighten them up and the problem is fixed....well untill they loosen back up.....you do it all from inside the truck...there are nuts tack welded up aginst the fire wall on the motor side....good luck.

i think he means where the steering wheels tilt adjustment is. by the turn signal and wiper levers. gotta take the steering wheel off and the 3 bolts are down in there.(there is more to it than just pulling the sw off)
