your goin for nine months bro....plus u can take the core alone for like $16,000-17,000 and then pay extra for all the street rod classes ....i was signed up for UTI to start at the new one in philly but i decided to go to wyotech cuz they offer more for about the same price......plus my buddies have told me that their hot rod U is a joke so that also kinda made up my mind too.... all in all its pretty tight up here....but thats not what this thread was about....it was about a fuckin car show i was tellin people about if they wanted to come.....

i have been to the UTI and NADC "performance" classes, either looking at the curriculum or sitting in on the classes, and both are jokes. you dont learn high perf that way, at least i have yet to see anyone worth a damn come out of the programs. i have seen some of the things for wyotechs high perf classes, and they seem the same.
the basics are taught, true, but in all honesty, how many people are going to go straight from college to a race team?
not many.
but of the three, UTI's is pretty cool. i have seen the new facility, it is incredible.

define certified? ASE's? you must have a minimum of one year work experience along with your schooling, or two years of work experience before you can take the tests and pass.
