Mach V/Ultimate is the WRX place to goto in NOVA. Also, up in MD there is a VERY EXCELLENT mechanic named Andrew who works inside of a repair facility in Gaithersburg. His reputation is so good that he works on many Subarus both in the DC area and out of the DC area. TurboXS is headquartered in Gaithersburg, and Element Tuning (which is run by Phil, formerly of TurboXS) is in the Montgomery County area as well.

Curry's Automotive does a lot of work on scoobies. They have a shop in Sterling and in Chantilly.

Goto Andrew. The guy who owns TurboXS personally recommended him to me to install all of their parts.

for tuning goto phil, i met him at hillmuth auto in maryland, where andrew works. Currys is shady IMO. Mach V is good. Txs is pricey. For a big turbo setup id recommend the gruppe-s gt30R turbo kit. Search for it on nasioc

While TurboXS is pricey, I would still go with them b/c their customer service is by far the best I have ever seen. There have been multiple instances that I have heard of when Nathan or somebody else over there did something jaw-dropping to satisfy the customer. Not only that, they are based in the DC area, so if something goes wrong or a part is defective, downtime will be minimal as all you have to do is take it up to Gaithersburg. While Gruppe-S is good (I bought my uppipe from those guys for a very awesome price and after 15,000+ miles its holding up great), downtime is gonna suck if something bad happens, as you're gonna have to ship it cross country to San Jose and back.
