Remember, the regional forums aren't hidden from public view like how the off-topic forums are. For as many cops that are registered on this board and browsing, there are plenty more that aren't registered and browsing.

here's the simple reasoning:

racing & similar tickets = revenue and profit

busting up gangs and drug dealers and such = dangerous and unprofitable

busting racers is an easy way to make revenue and keep the headlines at the same time to pretend they are being productive. passing in a no passing zone, no turn signal, running a red light or stop sign, all are minor fines, and minor infractions, yet a LOT more dangerous and more likely to injure or kill innocent people or the people involved then racing. no sense why they assrape us IMO, i guess as i said it's just an easy way to stay in the headlines.
