Default Where's the closest 1/4 track?

I'm getting sick of the long drive up to MIR and VIR is pretty far too, anyone else know of a decent track that is in the area that's not an 1/8th. Cause i'm getting my t3/t4 soon and don't want to have to pay $400+ to have a car towed back if something does break.

Depends on the part of NOVA you are coming from. Capital Raceway is 10-20 mins off the Beltway if you're not traveling during rush hour and you are coming down 50. Downside to this place is that they shut down at 11pm no matter what (due to ppl close by complaining about the noise). MIR is far, but the track looks a lot better, and they run until they are done. 75/80 Dragway is in poorer condition and on the outskirts of Frederick. If you are in Leesburg or Loudoun, I would say drive up 15 to 75/80 or Mason-Dixon. If you are in Fairfax or Springfield, take the Beltway and goto Capital.

2ND...

SORRY DUDE BUT CLOSEST TRACK IS M I R its only like a hour away
75 and 80 is like a hour and 20 min
capital is like hour and a half

So buy a trailor and a truck or learn to race 8th mile.

besides most races are won and the first 60 feet and 8th mile.
only big diff between 8th and qr is changing one more gear... "who cares"

What roads do you take that takes you 90 minutes to get to Capital??? I can get from Columbia to Fairfax in 45-1 hour, and Capitol is closer to the Beltway then my house is.

I will agree with you that 75/80 is run down.
