I've been in that 3, it's the hotness.. except for the 16s.

edit: google where the hell do you get your information? I think it's safe to say more than 300 NSXs were sold here.

Sorry to keep up with the hijack DiscoStu...but an old coworker of mine used to work in a plant that built Impalas and Vettes, I believe (other cars as well). He told me that NO car that came off the assembly line ever matched up even close to perfect...chassis, doors, etc.
That said, I'd still drive the fuck out of a vette. I'd never pay 50g's for one though...I'd rather get a Porsche...even if it's a Boxter.

That information was in autoweek, in forbes and even in production and sales figures from Acura. I was only talking about the new bodies. Ohh call my car a piece of crap all day, anywhere you want to go, track, quarter mile, whatever ill rape you. NSX are pieces of shit. They were pieces of shit when the came out, there pieces of shit now.
“The article had some nice things to say about the NSX.
I read it at the stand today and it was just as I expected.
The NSX is hailed as the most refined and balanced... as always.
The Z06 mops the floor with all at the track... as always.
There's no excitement when I pick up a performance comparo with a Z06 or Viper involved anymore. One of the two basically lambasts whatever else is competing in lap times. In case of the Z06, they also mention how it's always the cheapest of the lot.”
Choosnfag you’re a homo. So don’t sing it, lets go out for a little fun. You name the place.

So I guess that makes your car, not so special. But I bet it sure stirs up the mullet wearing fans at the local drag strips though.

The NSX does NOT run 12's stock. It is slower at the drag strip and the track than either the 911 Carrera or Z06. Road and Track did a 911, NSX, Z06 comparision at Laguna Seca.
Yes, I know that R&T often has among the slower times for 0-60 and 1/4 mile. The point is that the NSX, among this group, came in dead last when looking at the numbers. Some driver *liked* it more, even though the numbers showed poorer performance.
Porsche 911 Carrera, rear engine/rear drive, MSRP $83000
Acura NSX, mid engine/rear drive, MSRP $89000
Chevrolet Z06, front engine/rear drive, MSRP $52000
and their numbers were...
NSX:
0-60 in 5.0 seconds
skidpad 0.91 g
lap 1:59:10
911:
0-60 in 4.9 seconds
skidpad 0.91 g
lap 1:58:10
Z06:
0-60 in 4.7 seconds
skidpad 0.97 g
lap 1:56:98
