Me and a buddy of mine have gone up there twice in the last month just to go, and we've rather enjoyed it. Only thing is, we have been having problems actually finding anything to do, rather it be automotive wise, historical sightseeing, etc. We were talking early tonight about going up again this weekend. Anything going on that would make the trip worth while? I was up there for the last mega-meet in April and seen some incredible cars. Do any of those people ever come out anymore, even though the meets were cancelled?

 

the people still come out....but the problem is they dont all meet up. if you drive around and get to know people, you can find multiple different meeting spots...but no single big one like the mega meets. Have you been through manassas? there is site seeing(Civil War battle grounds and what not), Old Town manassas, and the BK where people meet up on friday nights and saturday nights. once you are there, the people move in a group from spot to spot....some cool cars and some nice people...but also some ricers and assholes.

But my friends and I are looking to expand the group of people we hang out with. There is only 6 of us and we need more cars with cool owners to go out regularly and what not. We were not "banned"

We ran our legal meet with a permit, and the permit is no longer, and there is no other location large enough to have us with it being able to be free (or as close to it as possible) and legal.
